Description of services assistance with rental and mortatage arrears, first and last month rent, energy arrears, moving expenses, landlord and tenant mediation
Eligibility criteria:
- Live in Peel and have status in Canada
- Under the threat of eviction, homeless or temporarily living in a shelter
- Under the threat of utility cut off
- Exhausted all options for financial support
- Not in receipt of assistance from Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program
- Have or be in the process of obtaining 2 pieces of ID
Rent Bank loans are provided for: Rental arrears, First & or Last, Utilities,Tribunal fees, Moving expenses and acquired Debts
Accepting applications from: Social assistance recipients, Self-employed individuals, Refugee claimant
